The Gary Calder Open Fields Session | Boise Idaho Family Photographer

How awesome is my job that I get to do posts of pictures with clients I love. Then I get to write a tribute to them!

Oh how I love this family, my second family. My “Favorite” Uncle Gary and Aunt Heidi. I was so happy to do these photos for them. And it was so easy, relaxed and fun. Hunstville Utah is one of my favorite places to photograph. It’s just a plethora of beautiful places and this field with it’s green and blue backdrop was dreamy.

Spencer, Justin, and Jackson are growing up now! In fact, Spencer just got married to a fantastic girl whom to me is also known as “Sunshine”. What a perfect first daughter for this family. We did this was a special nucleus family photo session so precious to capture right before the family starts changing.

To make the session even more fun, Gary found this rusted concrete fence post that had special meaning to him because of his dad. Grandpa Calder was especially special to this family living right down the road from them and joining with projects with him the last decade before his death. Gary wanted a picture with this concrete post and Gary and Heidi were up to a romantic photo! Not every married couple is up for this, but Gary and Heidi have always been such great examples to my cousins and me of being a good spouse and cherishing one another. This photo is so special to me, and I know it will be to them. Priceless. I love it.

And I love them.
